The 14th European Night of Researchers was organized by the Center for the Promotion of Science and the Institute for Biological Research “Siniša Stanković 30.09.2022. in Inđija, pedestrian zone with more than 300 visitors. The Researchers’ Night, which aims to bring scientific achievements and project perspectives closer to children of all ages and to the non-scientific population, is an important event for the popularization of science. The scientific program of this Researchers’ Night included a presentation of the FUNPRO project, which was supported by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia (Grant No. 774471). The objectives of the project were presented in a scientific-popular way during the exhibition; edible mushrooms and grape marc, which are the source material of the FUNPRO project, were presented as potential functional ingredients for the development of novel, improved dairy products beneficial to human health.
