XV. International Symposium “Novel Technologies and Sustainable Development” was held in Leskovac, Serbia, on October 20-21, 2023, and was organised by the Faculty of Technology, University of Niš. The International Symposium “Novel Technologies and Sustainable Development” is the first interdisciplinary forum for scientists, engineers and practitioners to present their latest research results, ideas, developments and applications in all areas of novel technologies and sustainable development, chemical engineering, environmental protection engineering, biochemical engineering, pharmaceutical and cosmetic engineering, food engineering, organic chemical technology, inorganic chemical technology, polymer engineering, textile engineering, materials engineering and information systems in engineering. The conference brought together leading academic scientists, researchers and scholars from around the world who are working on these topics. Scientists from different countries participated in the congress with 7 invited talks and several poster presentations were shown. The results of the FUNPRO project were presented by FUNPRO team members Mirjana Pešić, Sladjana Stanojević and Aleksandar Ž. Kostić through a poster presentation and project flyers.
