FUNPRO project at 6th Scientific-professional symposium with international participation „Beer, Brewing raw materials and equipment“, 25 – 27. October, Zrenjanin, Serbia
The 6th scientific-professional symposium with international participation „Beer, brewing raw materials and equipment“ was held in Zrenjanin, Serbia, from October 25 to 27. FUNPRO members Mirjana Pešić, Danijel Milinčić and Jovana Petrović presented the results of the bilateral project with China on the production of beer with improved functionality, e.g. improved fenolic profile, antioxidant and sensory properties. Important part of the research was the analysis of the phenolic profile of Prunus spinosea L. extracts and the newly formulated beer with grape pomace seed extracts. For this purpose, UHPLC-QToF-MS equipment was used, which was purchased as part of the FUNPRO project and significantly improved the quality of the research. Also, project flyers were disseminated to the audience.
