Ms. Danijel D. Milinčić is PhD student at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade, Department of Food Technology and Biochemistry. He earned BSc in Food Technology (2016) and MSc (2017) in Chemistry and Biochemistry in Food Technology at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade. He was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of education, science and technological development and the Fund for young talents of the ministry of youth and sports of the Republic of Serbia (Dositeja). His research area is focused on food chemistry and biochemistry with special emphasis on bioactive food components, functional and techno-functional properties of food, in vitro digestion, food proteins and biochemical transformations during food processing. So far, he is the author and co-author of 28 peer-reviewed articles, 2 book chapter, more than 30 presentations at international and national congresses and 1 student handbook. His articles have been cited more than 263 times, h-index is 8 (Scopus data base). He is a reviewer for top International Journals such as Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, Journal of Food Processing and Preservation, International dairy journal, Foods, and Molecules. He participated in 1 national project. He has participated as a member of the Organizing committees of the 2nd UNIFood International Conference (Belgrade 2021). He is a member of Serbian Association of Food Technologists.

Awards, prizes, fellowships:

  1. He was awarded for exceptional success during his studies at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade.
  2. The second award for the presentation of the paper at the 10th International Conference of Students of Agronomy, University of Kragujevac, Faculty of Agrоnomy in Čačak, 2017.
  3. Co-author of the awarded scientific article by the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade published in the field of food science and technology for 2021 year.
