Dr. Ivana Sredović Ignjatović, assistant professor, has been employed at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the Faculty of Agriculture since 2002. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade, she received her master’s degree in 2008 and her doctorate in 2015 at the same faculty. Since obtaining the title of assistant professor, she has been teaching general chemistry and analytical chemistry in the basic academic studies of the Food Technology study program. Dr. Sredović Ignjatović’s research work belongs to the field of analytical chemistry and, within it, is focused on the development, validation and application of chromatographic, spectrometric and electroanalytical methods for food analysis, monitoring of cations, anions, vitamins and organic acids in different stages of food production, using a statistical approach by applying experimental design (fractionated factorial design, response surface methodology, principal components analysis). Dr. Ivana Sredović Ignjatović is the author or co-author of more than 30 publications, 15 of which are in journals from the SCI list, more than 25 papers presented at national and international conferences and 3 student handbooks. Papers have been cited 40 times, the value of the H-index is 4, according to the Scopus citation database. She was engaged in three national projects during her career. She is a member of the Serbian Chemical Society (SCS). She has served as a reviewer of 4 journals from the SCI list. She is engaged as commentator of one PhD.
