Nutrition Society of Serbia was organized on 4th November 2022. a Seminar „Sustainable nutrition in sustainable development“ at the Faculty of Agriculture, Univesity of Belgrade. The Seminar was organized to gather doctors, pharmacists, biochemists and hypothetists-nutritionists and exchange the latest information about the implementation of the Agenda for sustainable development by 2030 in the Republic of Serbia. The invited lecturers disscussed with audience the goals in Agenda, Concept – One health and the possibility for valorisation of food industry by-products. Two workshops on food, nutrition, sustainable development and sustainable environment were held. The programof the Seminar is accredited by the Health Council of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia under the labelB-109/22for doctors, pharmacists, biochemists, hypothetists-nutritionists as a national seminar of the first category. Mirjana Pešić and Slađana Stanojević were participated in the Seminar as invited spekers and promoted FUNPRO project. Mirjana Pešić was given a talk on „Bioactive compounds of grape pomace: current application and future challenges“. Abstract of the lecture will be available on the website of the society.
